Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane-Timiskaming

The Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane-Timiskaming branch (CMHA CT) provides services to individuals throughout the Cochrane and Timiskaming districts from eight locations, including two in Timmins, as well as Iroquois Falls, Matheson, Cochrane, Kirkland Lake, Englehart, and New Liskeard. CMHA CT offers a wide range of services, including but not limited to case management, mental health counseling and treatment, crisis intervention, social/recreational programs, peer support, addictions counseling and treatment, housing support, health promotion and education, early psychosis intervention programs, and community mental health and addictions clinics. CMHA CT focuses on supporting the most vulnerable populations across the region, addressing the increasing number of individuals facing mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.

Mood Walks is offered throughout the organization at various times of the year. Individuals interested in participating do not need to be involved in other programs or services to take part. They can self-refer by contacting the office nearest to them.
