Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority

Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) is a provincial agency established in 1968 to further the conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources in the Mississippi and Carp watersheds, and portions of the Ottawa watershed.

MVCF is a registered charitable organization dedicated to conserving lands, wildlife and water environments and to preserve places of outstanding natural and cultural significance. Our changing climate and increased development place continuous pressures on groundwater systems, shoreline habitats and the ecological processes sustaining our communities and wildlife.

Participants will get the chance to explore and connect with nature at the Mill of Kintail. Tours will focus on seasonal themes and will offer specific information on the history, natural landscape, and special features of the area. Tours will also offer opportunity for community engagement, networking, and socialization.
